Guardian Manager
Personal finance management platform built to be used daily, not demoed once: wallets, categorised transactions, filters and yearly reports on a React and Node.js stack.
Guardian Manager is a personal finance platform: React with MUI on the front, a Node.js API behind it, and Prisma over MySQL. Authentication uses JWT access and refresh tokens.
After signing in you land on a dashboard with your wallets and a summary of every transaction, plus a table that splits income and expense by month across the current year.
Wallets, categories and transactions each have full create, read, update and delete flows. Transactions can be filtered by type, wallet, category, date and comment, entered by hand, or moved between wallets with a transfer function.
A preferences page sets the working currency, the currency for the overall balance, and how much of each form is filled in automatically. Yearly reports cover previous years, and there is a profile page and a dark mode.
